This award is open to undergraduate (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) and graduate students who have demonstrated leadership and involvement in promoting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and Plus (LGBTQIA+) student activities and in the promotion of a positive identity for LGBT students throughout the University community.
Recipients will have also demonstrated a commitment to academic achievement by achieving a grade point average of 2.25 or higher for undergraduate students and 3.25 or higher for graduate students on a 4.0 scale. In the case of equally qualified applicants, financial need may be used as a determining criterion.

Note: Total award of $1,000 may be divided between two semesters (recipient must be enrolled in both semesters).
