By the Numbers

Sororities and fraternities create a unique affinity space for students while attending college. They contribute to a student's sense of belonging and retention at the institution. Culturally based organizations can benefit students exponentially as the groups not only place an emphasis on belonging but focus on identity as well. For more information, visit the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement website.

Every fall, new Learning Community peer mentors are invited to attend university-wide peer mentor training. Attendees learn more about role expectations, available campus resources, making referrals, and how to best support their mentees as they transition to college.
