Peer mentors are integral to the success of Learning Communities (LCs). Peer mentors are upper division students form the major or program associated with their particular LC. They are often involved with co-facilitating seminars, serving as a campus resource for new students, organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities for Learning Community participants. Their experience and guidance is invaluable to our students.

International students do not qualify for funding through the CARES Act. International Students and Scholars Office provided the Office of Student Financial Aide a funding source through their endowment fund to assist international students in need.

Hixson scholars have free computer use, printing, and lounge space available to them 24/7. It is a resource and also a place where community happens. You'll often find students collaborating, studying, and just being together in community.
